Description : Vincenzo Ardizzone Vincenzo got his PhD from Ecole Normale Supérieure et Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris) with a thesis on nonlinear optics in semiconductor microcavities. He has then been a Post-Doc in Université Paris-Sud and Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan. In 2019 he joined the Advanced Photonics group of CNR-Nanotec in Lecce. His research interests focus on the physics of interactive bosons in solid-state systems spanning several topics, from Bose-Einstein condensates of exciton-polaritons in topologically protected states to quantum optics in polaritonic nonlinear integrated circuits.
Vincenzo is also a qualified European Patent Attorney and holds a Diploma in Industrial Property Law from the International Center on Intellectual Property Studies (Université de Strasbourg). He has worked as a consultant for a law firm based in Paris, helping clients in drafting and prosecuting French and European patent applications in several technical domains such as optics, semiconductors, medical technologies, and mechanics.
